Cabinet Gold van d’Vlies combines diverse artistic practices across a variety of media. The collective unites independent positions from the fields of design, photography, publishing and curatorial practice, which are brought together in joint projects. Working in various constellations, the collective’s work is accordingly diverse and includes such projects as the curation of the FLUT Gallery at Bremen University of the Arts, print design and publishing of books and magazines, and the mediation of their multifaceted output through performance work. The collective’s method is characterised by a strong interest in the processive, which is why their artistic productions seldom represent a definitive conclusion, revolving instead around thought processes and developments.
